Spring Dinner Success

We want to thank everyone that attended the Spring dinner last night. It was a wonderful evening. We are blessed and humbled to report that we raised $41,000 for our Squire Fund. We give God all the praise.

Our guest speaker, Jim Morris hit it out of the park with a beautiful heart felt testimony. He spoke on “Dream Killers” and Dream builders” in his life. All in attendance were blessed to hear of how God was with him on his journey through trials and triumphs.

He also spoke to our middle and high school students the next morning, reminding them to surround themselves with people (teachers, parents, friends) who encourage and support them in life.

Here is a bit of the feedback we heard from the guests:

Last night was our first Spring Fundraiser dinner. I wanted to let you know that we enjoyed the evening! We met three kind new families from school and enjoyed the speaker. Thank you for putting together such a wonderful event. We look forward to attending many more years to come. (Not sure if you know but our oldest is in 6th grade and our youngest is 18months, so we’ll be at GCCS for the next 18 years!! That’s crazy to think about.) (GCCS Parent)

You did a wonderful job in preparation for last night. It was an excellent evening of fellowship and I hope that you know the blessings of your efforts.  The speaker was fantastic and inspiring (GCCS Parent)

It was a fantastic event last night! Thank you for all your hard work! (CCHS Staff)

What a great night last night! THANK YOU for all the time, energy, and heart you all poured into making it happen! (GCCS Parent and Board member)

I never heard of Jim Morris before the event. He exceeded my expectations after hearing his life story. Hearing his struggles with a very difficult childhood and how his grandparents saved his life spoke to the importance of the influence we can have on our youth. (GCCS grandparent)
