Buying More Than One Ticket?
If purchasing for a guest, please include your name as “student name” and your guest’s name in “guest name”. If your guest does not attend CCHS, they will need a signed permission form from their high school principal or administrator. You can download the form below or pick one up in the CCHS office. Your guest will not be allowed entry into the dance without the signed form. The signed form must be turned in to the CCHS office no later than April 19.

If the ticket cost is not manageable, please email Dave Dekker at the address below to discuss scholarship opportunities.

Please read over both policies before submitting the form below.

Prom tickets will not be issued until policy forms have been signed and returned.

Whenever Calvin Christian students gather as a group – in private or in public – individual tastes and expressions take second place to our communal witness to our school, to its Christian perspective, and ultimately to Christ himself. Our extracurricular activities are surely a form of our communal witness. We intend for our dances to be a wholesome social activity. Therefore, the following will apply to Prom:

● All high school expectations, rules, and discipline regarding conduct and behavior are to be enforced at school dances – these rules can be found in the Student Handbook.
● There will be no sexually inappropriate dancing and no public displays of affection.
● Attendees must remain respectful of each other and all chaperones
● Student ID cards must be turned in at the door at dance check-in. These will be returned as students leave the dance.
● Calvin Christian juniors and seniors may bring a guest, with a pre-approved guest pass.
● The dance will be a closed event, but not a lock-in. Attendees who choose to leave early will not be readmitted.

Prom is a formal-attire event.  All students who attend prom should wear appropriate clothing.  Men should wear dress pants and dress shirts, and if they chose, a tie and suit coat.  Ladies should wear a dress, or a skirt/dress pants and a nice top.

As representatives of our school, and more importantly representatives of Christ, the dress you wear for our formal banquets/dances is important.  Many dresses in our culture today are not appropriate for Calvin Christian events, but there are many more that are, and in which you will look stunningly beautiful.  It is important that you choose your dress keeping in mind your role as a representative of your Christian faith.

To avoid confusion on what will be considered appropriate, please observe the following guidelines:

  • Those choosing to wear short dresses or skirts to the banquet must follow these guidelines. Dresses
    • Dresses or skirts may not be more than 5 inches above the knee cap.
    • Any slits in dresses or skirts must not be more than five inches above the knee and also the wearer must bring leggings for the dance portion.
  1. Plunging necklines or necklines with excessive cleavage as well as bare midriffs will not be allowed.

If there is a question about whether or not your attire is appropriate, talk with Ms. Boender or Mr. Henderson before the day of prom.  Students who choose not to follow the prom dress code will be asked to change or leave without a refund.
