Industrial Arts and AP Physics teacher and Director of Robotics. He received his degree in Broadfield Science from Concordia University Wisconsin and started his teaching career in California. Jason comes to us from Orange County, California, where he was named one of the top 25 teachers in the area. Jason is a STEM and Social Studies teacher who has taught at a few different Christian schools in California. He has training in teaching through modeling and Project-Based Learning. His hobbies include building and woodworking. He is very excited to return to Michigan where he grew up and to live near his brother and sister in Grand Rapids. Jason and his wife, Chelsea, have two girls ages 3 and 1. Paul tells us in Romans 1:20, “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made…” Jason believes science teaches us about how great God is, about who He made us to be, and that it is our responsibility to understand and protect the gift of nature. Part of being made in God’s image is that we are called to create and invent just as our Father did. He thinks we all can discover those truths through science.
