I am thankful that God has led me to GCCS and that He has an amazing plan for each of our lives. In 2015 I graduated from Dordt College with a degree in elementary education and international TESL. During college I spent two semesters in Nicaragua and decided to return to Nicaragua after graduation. I spent over three years in Nicaragua teaching second grade at Nicaragua Christian Academy. I loved living and teaching in Nicaragua and miss it dearly. During the summer of 2018 I felt the Lord shifting His call on my life. I felt Him calling me back to west Michigan. I had no idea why God was calling me to leave Nicaragua but I am very thankful that through the process of trusting God with my life and my future He brought me to GCCS and now I am teaching third grade Spanish Immersion and loving it! I love getting to share God’s love and the Spanish language with my students, and learn and grow with them! In my spare time I love volunteering and creating things through sewing and crafting. I also love getting to spend time with my family now that I live close to them again. I am enjoying seeing the ways that God is working through this community of GCCS and I look forward to seeing how He continues to grow and shape this community.
