Community In Classrooms & Beyond
At Grandville Elementary School, we believe in fostering a community where all are welcome. We are committed to being a:
Where Biblical truths and values permeate all learning experiences.
Where Christian love and compassion are modeled and taught.
Inclusive Learning Community
Where all God’s children are welcome and engage in learning within their range of individual giftedness.
Where diversity in ability, color, race, and denomination of faith is valued and celebrated.
Where learning activities are crafted with a cross-cultural partner school in Kenya (The Reverend Murupus Academy).
Students now have the ability to enroll in Spanish Immersion from preschool through tenth grade. This opportunity assists with a student’s cross-cultural awareness and competency, academic achievement, second language proficiency, and so much more. Spanish Immersion students not only learn a language, but also a culture and another way of life.
Students who complete Grandville Elementary School will move onto Calvin Christian Middle School, which offers a variety of community-focused programs that help foster inclusivity within the classroom. From the tribe system to caring community, caring kids, Calvin Christian Middle School strives to make all feel welcome and at home.
Calvin’s excellent Educational Support & Inclusion specialists strive to meet the needs of all students, while all teachers participate in a student support team that monitors all students’ progress and responds to their individual needs.
