Congratulations Class of 2020!
We as a Grandville Calvin Christian community are so proud of our seniors. They have completed their high school education and are ready to use their gifts from God to keep loving, learning and serving wherever he may lead them.
We want to celebrate their accomplishments by holding a fundraiser in their honor. It was evident during their parade in the parking lot a couple of weeks ago how much they care for each other as they shared air hugs and celebrated seeing each other again. We were moved this year, when we saw them come together to pray and support a classmate who was struggling with a health crisis. They truly have a strength that God has instilled in them and they are prepared to face whatever may be ahead with God’s help. Their spirit of joy is inspiring, especially knowing what they have gone through.
Class Verse:
Their class verse speaks powerfully into this time of loss and uncertainty:
Isaiah 54:10 – “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed” says the Lord who has compassion on you.
The Gold Cap Campaign
Our goal for this campaign is to raise $15,000 to celebrate the Class of 2020. For every $200 raised we will add a graduation cap, until we have raised enough to represent all 77 members of the Class of 2020. When we reach that goal, we will hold a drawing and award one member of the class with a $1,000 gift to be used for their future plans.
Supporters? Let’s show these wonderful young men and women how much we love them by reaching our goal and surpassing it. May God be glorified through this very special way of honoring our Class of 2020.
